A propos de ma bibliothèque
This is a list of books I've read. I also own the vast majority of them, but a very few I'd borrowed, and some I've given away. That's especially true for the computer science books, as I pruned my professional library in the summer of 2010 when I moved from an office with a whole wall of bookcases to one with just a few shelves. Many of them were outdated, or superfluous: just how many C++ texts does one need anyway?

I created this account at the end of 2010, and over 3 days entered more than 1100 books, representing many years of reading. In doing so, I didn't pay much attention to which version I'd read: hardback, soft cover, or Kindle; or which of multiple copies of classics. It didn't seem important since I'm cataloging what I read, not what I own. For the pruned professional library mentioned above, I tried to recall major books I'd given away, but I'm sure I missed a lot; so be it!

My goal going forward is to do more tagging and to try and include at least very brief reviews of the books I read, but we'll see if time permits that.
