A propos de ma bibliothèque
I am a big fan of libraries, so most of the books in my collection, I don't own, even my favorites. Actually, my favorites are sometimes the ones that go the quickest, even when I do buy them. Once I loaned "A Prayer for Owen Meany" to a friend, who in turn loaned it to another friend, and when he gave it back, he told me that his other friend always eats the last page of all the books she likes. Go figure.

Most of my ratings on my books are 3 1/2 stars and up. This is probably because I think I certainly am pretty good at picking books that I will like, hence the higher ratings. Also, I am pretty finicky when it comes to reading, and if something really isn't thrilling me, I drop it--usually. If I included all of the books that I only partially read (some of which were 3/4 of the way read), there would be hundreds more on my list.

That being said, this is how I rate my books:

1 star= I hated it.
2 stars= I disliked it.
3 stars= I liked it.
4 stars= I liked it a lot.
5 stars= I loved it...It changed my perspective on life and/or reading/writing.

A propos de moi
I started using this as a way to keep track of the things I have read, and have been astonished at how much I have not. Too many big books, rereads, and abandoned books.
