Created by myself over the last two years, the Nightingale Private Library is a collection that is hosted on Librarika, and replicated on LibraryThing and Goodreads to better reach the community. The contents of it's collection are all from my personal library that have been purchased over the years with a large portion of them having been bought from a local non-profit that supports homeless men and women in the city.

The goal of the Library is to create a live database that contains the records of the contents of the personal collection and display it to the public in a way that can be accessed and borrowed by particular groups; mainly Library and Information Technology Students at Nova Scotia Community College.

While the physical resources of this library are not available to the general public at this time, the website and blog can be interacted with by anyone. I encourage users of LibraryThing, Goodreads, and any other platform to join us in our conversations and help expand the Nightingale Library community!

A propos de moi

Morpheus, also known as Timothy, is the owner and administrator of Nightingale Private Library. Books are his passion, and as a 1st Year Library and Information Technology Student, library catalogues and databases have become a major interest of his. All of the materials contained within the Nightingale Collection have been collected by Timothy throughout his life with new books added all the time.
