I'm a 56 year old mother and nurse who is looking forward to retiring in a couple of years. My husband and I have been happily married and reading together for 31 years. Our favorite activity is going to the book store to browse and buy. They know us by site and name we're their so often.
Our son is grown and a corporate manager. He's also a Concert Pianist with a Degree is Music and Piano Performance who we enjoy many hours with visiting on a bi-weekly basis. We've had several other "kids" in our lives who have lived with us and made our lives much more complete. We love them all as our own and always will.
My husband reads Sci-Fi and Fantasy Books and loves cook books and cooks like a true chef. I read mysteries and occasional fictional books to get my mind off of my work. I also quilt frantically and am always looking for new quilting books. My life is the best and I could not ask for more. (except book shelves)!
