A propos de ma bibliothèque
I buy books that really interest me or that I cannot easily obtain from academic libraries in my area. Some of these books I've had since undergrad days quite a long time ago. The tag DNO means I have read this book cover to cover but do not own a copy.
A propos de moi
I'm a retired librarian and professionally-trained but avocational historian. Having "a Veblensque skepticism of capitalism's moral moorings" (R. S. Hewett), I enjoy societal critiques. Don't read much fiction(except Richard Powers).

Is there anyone else in the world interested in the history of the German Kingdom of Hanover, especially in the early 19th century?
