My library has been built very randomly. I usually walk though the bookstore and let the books choose me. As a result, it's a rather eclectic collection. It's mostly fiction (literary and classics) and poetry, but there's also history, philosophy, memoir, and reference. Every so often, I cull out some books and donate them to the public library.

I joined LibraryThing in 2005, but have been an active reader all my life. Most of the books in this listing are ones I've read since then or books that are on my TBR list. Recently I've begun adding books that I read pre-2005 in an attempt to create a comprehensive list of the books that I've read instead of only a partial one. Not sure how that's going to work out though.
