- Our current aim is to provide radical media and literature to our local community. We also offer use of the space to progressive political community groups for meetings and/or events. A donation is requested and the collective decides on a case by case basis.

- Black Rose is a 25 year old, collectively run, not-for-profit library and bookshop. We run out of a space at 22 Enmore rd in Newtown, Sydney, Australia, with two other groups Tutu and Little Fish Art Gallery.
Black Rose is run collectively, that is, a group of people with similar interests and aims come together and make decisions based on a consensus model. No one is in charge and all the tasks we need to do to keep the library and shop open are shared amongst us, from cleaning to ordering books to staffing.
The collective is open and we are happy to welcome new members to help run and staff the space. - Lieu (géographique)
