A propos de ma bibliothèque
This library contains only items that are relevant to genealogy in a broad sense. Thus, there are genealogy specific items, social and general history, and any other item that I have used in genealogical research. While the collection is Nova Scotia centred in volume, other Atlantic Canada provinces are included as well as others such as Jersey, CI, Ireland, etc. Includes both print and electronic documents and some "gray literature", that is, unpublished documents. There are also books that have been digitised and are part of digital collections: as this library is used when conducting my own research and research for others, I have included these with their permanent URL. These are mainly from Canadiana.ca and archive.org
A propos de moi
Genealogist(PLCGS) focused on Atlantic Canada and specifically Nova Scotia. I also have a very modest collection covering Jersey in the Channel Islands, some UK,Ireland and miscellaneous resources. Will do quick lookups from my own collection only. As I was a regular volunteer/visitor to genealogical society, archives, and local history library, my collection at home is not as comprehensive as I had easy access to these locations, and always like to save trees!
