A propos de ma bibliothèque
The collection listed here represents both mine and my husband's books. He and I were both English majors, so we have a lot of books leftover from those days. He did some creative writing and studied poetry, and I minored in art history. So we have a strong showing in those two areas. Since school, I've stayed away from reading anything heavy...I'm so lazy. Nowadays I collect travel writing, books about cooking, and cookbooks. Sometimes I go really deep and buy young adult fiction, too!

If I tag a book as "unread" it means that I didn't read; it could be that my husband did. If I tag a book as "read" that means I read it cover to cover. Anything that I skimmed, browsed, slept on, leafed through just enough to write a paper, or mostly ignored, gets no reading related tag.
A propos de moi
I am currently unemployed but actively looking for work! I'm hoping to find work in a nonprofit organization, preferably in the hands-on area of volunteer coordination. I recently quit an unsavory job and haven't looked back once! Of course, I couldn't be sitting here, unemployed, without the financial and emotional support of my husband. I don't think he minds too much though, the house is awfully clean and the dinners I'm producing are quite delicious if I do say so myself!

In one of my former jobs I worked exclusively on cookbooks and was, thus, "always hungry." I guess I'm big consumer of a lot of things: books, music, movies, trivia, food, etc. There's just so much world and so little time...
