40k books is the new publishing series fully committed to digitally created short stories, conceived by DigitPub and directed by Giuseppe Granieri.
The 40k ebooks are short, cheap and multingual: tales and short essays around 40.000 keystrokes long – hence the name of the series – which are available at a very low price (ranging from 2,90 to 3,90 €) in various languages: Italian, English, French, Portuguese and, in a short while, Spanish.
40k's catalogue is divided into two different branches: Stories, a sophisticated selection of short tales, and Essays, papers dealing with the digitalization of culture. The covers have been conceived and designed by Roberto Grassilli, cartoonist, illustrator and founder of Clarence.com.
