Jericho Caine, the vampire slayer is trying to get over the death of his fellow Death Brother, the demon hunter, Father Tom Padilla.

However, a European vampire clan has risen again with plans to spread vampirism in the United States and then throughout the world. They're awaiting their powerful leader to join them as he sends his number two vampire ahead to pinpoint Jericho's weaknesses. A werewolf pack also emerges that have a history a history with the vampires, so they attempt to unite with the slayer by using a former Dark Hunter, who becomes one of Jericho's love interests. So now, Jericho must navigate the supernatural world in a crippling state of mind with a new assistant, old allies, and new ones.
