This is intended to be a representative list of SF (science fiction, fantasy, slipstream) by women and minority writers. The purpose of this list is to help me (and, I hope, you) discover new-to-me genre writers to read. I have recommended a few classics but this list is intended to be more selective than comprehensive. Please add your recommendations, especially if the writer is not already represented on this list.
