Description
The year is coming to an end, and our December List of the Month is dedicated to LibraryThing members' Top Five Books of 2022. Please note that books don't need to have been published in 2022, just read this year. You can see the LT Staff picks on the blog: https://blog.librarything.com/2022/12/top-five-books-of-2022/, and you can join the conversation on Talk: https://www.librarything.com/topic/346468

abbottthomas: The third book in this series. I might have as easily included the first two.

Explications
abbottthomas: I found a copy of this splendid book after it was withdrawn by the publishers and the editor/author 'cancelled' as a consequence of a 'woke' - and hate-filled - social media attack on her and her memoir. I bought it as an act of solidarity with Clancy! See here: https://www.theguardian.com/books/2022/feb/01/kate-clanchy-independent-publisher-some-kids-i-taught for a balanced review. The children's poems are surprising and uplifting.
