Will: gives to his son William Ellery "my folio family bible and one half my other books and pamphlets" and to his son George Wanton Ellery "the books he used at school, and one half my other books and pamphlets (my great folio Bible excepted)."

Probate inventory: lists among "Articles Bequeathed to William Ellery" "1 Family Bible" valued at $2, "One half Books and Pamphlets" valued at $10. Lists among "[Articles] Bequeathed to Geo. W. Ellery" "Books used at School" valued at $1, "1 half Books & Pamphlets" valued at $10.
