MythBusters: The Explosive Truth Behind 30 of the… par Keith Zimmerman

mythbusters mission is to expose untrue myths in a fun way. this book got a lower rating than the other books that i have rated for 3 reasons. one: the format is not as good.
two: some of the myths busted are facts almost everyone knows about, and not just by watching the show. three: you do not need to read the book, just watch the show. but it as good in one way or a nother. the descriptive articals are very helpful to reading the book. also the pictures are cool too. not only that, it tells the story of the cast.… (plus d'informations)

MythBusters: The Explosive Truth Behind 30 of the… par Keith Zimmerman

It's a "novelization" of some of the early MythBusters episodes. There are things to recommend this format--price and ease of reference --but if you want the full drama, you want to watch the show, and you'll probably then find the book redundant. There was some interesting stuff about the show at the start of the book, including the biographies of Jamie and Adam, as well as the never-seen Peter Rees who apparently has great creative input into the show that watchers never knew.

Mythbusters: The Explosive Truth Behind 30 of the… par Keith Zimmerman

Wow! Hey! I fell really smart now! :D Our family loves Adam and Jamie, [i]THE Mythbusters[/i]. I don't often get to watch their show as I like to be able to pay full attention to it and not just watch sporadically and miss important points. We have it on dvd so I will begin watching it soon. Elijah and I have just finished the first of two sets of Dirty Jobs and I will pick up with Mythbusters after Dirty Jobs. What did I learn? I learned that no one is going to be killed by a penny dropped from the Empire State Bulding...even if the penny could reacht hte ground and not a lower observation deck. Oh, and I even learned I have no fear of my new boobies ever exploding mid-flight, even if there is a great pressure change in the cabin. :lol:… (plus d'informations)
