It was a good read but I have read other books about Anne Neville that were better. It seemed to me that the story would proceed and then backtrack as if the author forgot to tell you something that should have previously been mentioned. I also take exceptional to the epilogue whereby it states the princes of the tower were discovered under the stairs of the white tower.....that has not yet been proven.

Portrays Richard III in a sympathetic light. Blames the Woodvilles malign influence on Richard's oldest brother, Edward IV. Suggests death of Edward's sons, Edward V and Richard, Duke of York, remain unexplained. Excellent way to become acquainted with the War of the Roses.
