This is the fourth edition of what appears to be far and away the most popular World War II miniatures game. It’s a fairly simple igo-yugo system, in which one side (1) moves, (2) shoots, and (3) close assaults, and then the other side does likewise. The core rules are only 44 pages; other content includes rules for organizing forces, and “missions” — setting up and playing a game on a standard 4’ x 6’ table. In addition, there’s a certain amount of fluff in the form of a basic outline of World War II history at the highest level.
