Dan Yashinsky

A good overview of some of general issues surrounding oral narrative, and how it may help the community; however, I was critical about Yashinsky's evaluation of modern culture (eg. computers, video games, etc). I found his underlying argument that modern culture lacks a common mythology a little simplistic. In general, the author can be a little preachy and heavy handed.
