Being the devotee of True Crime books, and a TOP CONTRIBUTOR for this genre on Amazon, I found the storyline to be quite credible, albeit the stories I’ve read deal with murders and serial killers of both sexes.
Angelina, a protagonist in this story, is just like those in the True Crime books I’ve read, they’ve both been influenced by the environment they grew up in, and how they’d been treated by one or both of their parents; for in her case, her mother had pressured her to become a prostitute, giving men a blowjob at $1,000 a pop, while still in her teens. Prostitution can lead to other things such as and including murder, but luckily for Angelina, it didn’t lead there, but did lead her to become guilty of theft.
Steven, who became Angelina’s compadre, and while they might have come from two dissimilar backgrounds, he still had his own baggage. But forming the union they’d made while on the run along with their own individualistic background situations creates a transformation in their lives which will last forever.
What effects will the conflicts they might be forced to endure while on their run have on their lives? Will these two individuals be faced with situations which might throw a monkey wrench in what they now want to achieve for themselves?
