There are many books about the science behind the super heroes (many of which I own), but this one is by far my favorite. While most other books of this type attempt to 'debunk' superpowers, Link works on the basis of "if these super powers are real how could we explain them?" Besides being quite knowledgeable about the science he is discussing Link's writing shows him to be quite obviously a comic book fan, often taking particular examples from comics to prove his scientific theories.

For all the fans of X-Men, comics, or super heroes who like them just a little bit more obsessively than most this is definitely a good buy.… (plus d'informations)
