- Grahame Wright
was born in 1947 in Leicester, England. He started working in a garage at
the age of fifteen, and then became an apprentice as a precision engineer and scientific instrument-maker. Besides attending college, Mr.
Wright has worked at a number of jobs in London; he has been a department-store porter, an
insurance clerk, a music-shop assistant, an assistant stage manager, and an editor of a laboratory trade newspaper. He is married now and
lives in Surrey, where he is at work on another
