Review I received a e-copy of this book from LibraryThing for an honest review.
Although presented as a reference for beginning woodworking, there are a few deficiencies in this book, notably the lack of illustrations. I would think that any beginner would need to see the project ahead of building it. I am not sure if this would be my go-to choice for starting any type of woodworking projects, no matter how simple. Only my opinion.

There are no pictures in the PDF I recieved. Without pictures, a beginner would be very lost. As a child, I spent quite a bit of time in my grandfather's woodshop so these techniques mentioned are not new terminology for me. Without the now ledge I have I would be completely lost with the instructions provided.
This is more like a introduction to terminology for beginners than anything else. I do think that this may make a nice addition for a high school woodworking class where an instructor is present to demonstrate some of the techniques mentioned in this very short book (I would call it a manual). Maybe something passed around at the beginning of the year to educate a classroom on words they soon will be using regularly.

As a person who knows virtually nothing about woodworking, I did not find this book helpful. The author went into detail about many things; but without illustrations I was virtually lost. Also, the title seems as if it is incomplete, 101 what... Tips, tricks- with it left incomplete it just seems like poor editing. I did receive this book in exchange for a review from the members giveaway page.
