With a Jug of Wine par Morrison Wood
There are several recipes that my Dad tried and are now family favorites - Turkey soup and Jambalaya especially.
My copy is from the 22nd printing (1963) I have used it zillions of times and most of the recipes are "no fail" and very easy to follow, and frequently accompanied by interesting anecdotes. My boys can't wait for me to die, to get hold of my copy. I think there may be a tug of war over the book.
