Double the book, double the edge of your seat, roller coaster suspense with a little romance to lighten hanging on by your fingertips. I really enjoyed both suspenseful stories that kept me up much to late reading. Heather Woodhaven was a new author to me but I look forward to reading more. Her story was nonstop looking over your shoulder and what on earth can happen next. Tanya Stowe is always a go to author of inspirational romantic suspense. Vanished in the mountains tackles the heavy subject of human trafficking while still giving us hope in the midst of the storm. Great characters that inspire you to do whatever it takes to help others. A great love inspired book.
I received a complimentary copy from the author. The honest review and opinions are my own and were not required.

But survivalist expert Ivy West saw the face of the murderer and now she and her foster child are targets. Now Sean must protect them and confront what drove him and Ivy part . . . or risk losing the family he never thought he wanted.

I enjoyed this clean, love Inspired. Suspenseful romance. I voluntarily chose to review this story and I've given it a 5* rating. This had a lot of action and mayhem to stir up a situation of twins separated at birth. Lots of guessing needed to find the head of the Mask group. Lots to keep you turning the pages. This is the second in this of the "Twins Separated at Birth" Series.

A friend sent me this book in a box of books. I thought there were two by this author, but either I've already read one of them and didn't realize it or I was mistaken.

The suspense is well done. I was glad that the author chose not to harp too long on the "I'm attracted to her, but I'm supposed to be protecting her so there's no way" plot point that seems common to this genre.

I wasn't able to follow the accounting part as well as I would have liked (even though there wasn't much of it).

I did like that Kurt waited until they'd dated a year before asking Rebecca to marry him. That seems more realistic than what this genre usually uses for a time frame.

That said, there's not much about faith specifically in this book. One brief conversation is all I recall (and maybe a few hurried prayers in times of trouble).
