I really didn't mean to pick up this book at all and suddenly I just had. It was on the table at my best friend's house when I walked in and I hooked on the words new erotica, feminist, and equal pay, and this is all you need to know so that you should be running for it, too.

It's hilarious, tongue-in-cheek feminism and commentary all along the way. It's worth reading it out loud. It's worth owning, and making sure that every girl/woman in your life own a copy as well. Do it. Go now.… (plus d'informations)

I laughed out loud. I read it in 30 minutes. It pointed out microaggressions that all women suffer in an amusing way. The resources at the end were perfect.

This was fine. A bit dated, despite being released in 2018. It's a compilation of pieces that were published in McSweeney's, so it's exactly what you'd think it would be.

Ever dream of a mechanic not gaslighting you? Or a catcaller paying you a genuine compliment instead of degrading you? Then this is the book for you. Filled will heavily satirical vignettes describing fantastical and completely plausible scenes, if we did not live in a toxic patriarchy. Not of the Erotic genre at all, the vignettes are feminist comedic satire, but go ahead and hold it up in the subway just to make a few prudes blush.
The authors clearly enjoyed themselves when writing this slim collection of vignettes. I was little disappointed to learn that the book was not, in fact, short stories, but much shorter vignettes; short scenes of only a few lines. I still enjoyed it and felt very good about myself for reading it so quickly.… (plus d'informations)
