This was a good ending to a really good series. The prodigal girl, Shannon, has come home. But she is finding it hard to readjust to her life at home. She can't understand God's grace as it relates to her guilt. And when the family realizes that the young man, Dylan Snider raped her, each family member must deal with how they handle this news.

Then there is Matt Bolling; a young man God sends into Shannon's life. He is a missionary child and must learn to slowly get Shannon to see how much he truly loves her. Bobbi, the Mom also is struggling to try to figure out what God has planned for her next. Chuck wants justice for his daughter and can't see anyone's way but his way as the right way. But God will bring him to the place where he sees how forgiveness and grace are able to be accomplished in the most unexpected way. Then there is Jack, my favorite member of the family. He will help resolve many issues the family faces. As I said before, this was a good ending to a really good series!… (plus d'informations)

This story starts out with the sudden murder of Brad Molinsky, when he is hit by a stray bullet. This will affect all the other characters in this story in one way or another. Jack loses a brother and mentor. Shannon's grief will be seen in her angry rebellion, which will bring about some devastating consequences. Chuck, the father, struggles with the fear he's brought a far-reaching curse on his family with his affair, and Bobbi finds herself on the edge of an emotional collapse. Yet, in their darkest moments, God will give them hope in the most unexpected ways.

Once again, this author has written a heart-wrenching story that tugs at the heartstrings and yearns for this family to experience a life free from heartache. I strongly recommend you read this series in the order written to fully understand the dynamics of this family.

A story that picks up around 7 years from where book one left off. Wasn't expecting this story line, but the author did a good job once again of making this story seem very real and very heartbreaking at times. I loved the child, Jack, in this story and his interaction with everyone he met. This story once again reminds people of the deep consequences that one sin can bring upon so many people in so many ways. But it also shows the power of God to change lives, bring about forgiveness, heal, protect and bring good things together for good.… (plus d'informations)

This was a hard story to read about, but also a story that held my attention and I found myself wanting to read way into the night. It is a story of a marriage being almost destroyed because of a betrayal by a spouse, and which will take an enormous step of faith to learn to trust again by the one who was betrayed.

Bobbi Molinsky thought she had a good life; a successful husband, Chuck, and two great boys. But then it all comes crashing down around her when she accidentally comes upon an email that suggests her husband is having an affair with a new attorney at Chuck's firm. After a confrontation with Chuck, their 18 years of marriage you think is about to be over.
With the help of their pastor, Bobbi agrees to wait on a divorce and give Chuck a chance to do whatever it takes to win Bobbi back.

This was a story where one's faith and real life meet head on. A story that reads like a real life struggle and no easy answers. A story that shows how one person's sinful actions will forever change the life of a family.
