How to be Wild Like Keith Richards: 50 Years of… par Jack Wilson
This is the sort of book that compiles stories and facts from various sources and puts them all in one place. It's not an in-depth analysis of Keith, and it broadens out to include several other wild men of rock, but it is an interesting and entertaining chronicle of rock and roll excess. Faults are laid bare but without tearing people down, bringing a healthy dose of reality to what might otherwise be a worship of the extremes of a rock lifestyle. This is a fairly obscure book. I actually bought a copy of it from Jack Wilson's widow in a liquor store out in the middle of nowhere Alaska. It's written in a rough sort of style (that's not to say that it's not well written) which is what you'd expect from a man as tough as he was. He does some absolutely crazy things as an early Alaskan bush pilot. If you can find a copy and you're interested in Alaska, I would recommend reading it.
