I found this memoir very interesting. So many aspects of Paula's life are different than my own that I learned a lot of what it is like to walk in her shoes as both a deeply religious person and a transgender woman. I appreciated her honesty and willingness to admit when she handled something wrong in her life before, during, and after her transition. I am honored that she is willing to share her story with readers like me.

i love memoirs/people sharing their personal stories with the world, but i hate reviewing memoirs because who am i to judge somebody's story? or have opinions about their life they choose to share with us? i have mixed feelings about this book... i thought it to be very repetitive, but at the same it was very moving. Paula Stone Williams's story is about acceptance and love and spirituality and the way she presents herself and how she goes about her life is very inspiring
