I found this story sort of lacking, not as good as the previous 2 I've read by this author ('Claimed by the Enemy Highlander' and 'The Rebellious Highlander Bride').

I hadn't realised this was a bear-shifter story.

All in all, despite the title, this was a fairly sweet story. Yes, there was sword fighting, but no graphic violence.
The story was well-written and coherent, and properly edited. Despite following a familiar pattern (boy & girl meet, hate each other because of family feud, but fall madly in love with eachother), it didn't read as a carbon copy of another work.
