Hope White

This was on the sale shelf at my local library. It's rare I give Love Inspired Suspense more than an average rating.

The Pros:
*The story drew me in from early on.
*I liked that it started out with Rose being the strong one and Noah being the character who needed help. I also liked that this became more equal as the story progressed.
*Oscar
*The author let the romance develop at a realistic pace. By the end of the book, they're only agreeing to date (though we know that the author will have theirs be a true love and that they'll eventually be married). Hopefully the author will continue the realistic pace and let them move past the infatuation stage before they end up engaged/married.
*The supporting cast: There are many characters that I'd like more backstory on--Thomas, Michael, Chris, Willy, and Beau. I'd also like to see TJ's story continue and have him find someone.… (plus d'informations)

A friend gave me this book in a box of books.

I almost ranked it less than average. I didn't find the story intriguing. About the only good thing I can say is at least the author had the sense to only have the characters agree to be dating at the end--they weren't engaged or married. Considering they'd only met a short time before and for most of the story Scott had no memory--I would consider it a real stretch if they'd done anything more than agree to explore their attraction for each other.… (plus d'informations)

I enjoyed this suspenseful romance. I voluntarily chose to review this story. Lots of action in this and kept me turning the pages late into the morning. I've given this a 5* rating. This was a case of being in the right place at the wrong time and suffering the many consequences' from this. But she was rescued by her long time crush, over and over again. Of course, she was a self sufficient woman, she could take care of herself. She just had dreams of traveling that she was saving up for. There was a lot going on in this story, family, friends and the police force being called in fast. I really enjoy this author's work.… (plus d'informations)
