Summary: This book talks about mood swings by relating them to sea creatures. The most prominent mood being "crabby" which is talked about through the eyes of a mother crab about her child crab. There are multiple sea creature characters throughout the entire book and it's main point is that it's okay to be crabby every once and awhile, as long as we don't stay like that forever.

Critique of Genre: Fantasy because in some parts of the book, the crab and a couple other sea creature characters talk. This is unrealistic because animals can't talk in real life. Also, all of the pictures portray the animals to be alive in a fantasy type way because of their facial expressions and outfits.

Age: Primary

Media: Tissue paper, paint and photoshop

The little crab has many feelings, but today he is especially crabby. . The little crab learns that it is okay to be mad and take time alone to calm down. When he is ready he can come out and be silly and fun again. The pictures are bright and cheery even though he is grumpy. It offers a valuable skill set in coping with emotions and feelings. A great book for all who read.… (plus d'informations)
