I was so happy to see this new series with the focus on Ringo and Charlie with the promise of more time travel and visits from the rest of the crew.

A short story to accompany the series.

I wanted to like this. I tried to like this but I got nada from the read. Let's be honest as a reader, when you find yourself skimming more pages than what you're actually reading it's probably best to let this go before anyone got hurt.

Oliver has developed a computer program with the purpose of beating deepfake videos, and that has put him in danger from Cipher Security nemesis, Alex Karpov. Dallas is assigned as his close protection specialist, but when she gets a call from her sister telling her that their grandfather is dying, Dallas takes Oliver with her to the Yukon to keep him safe. Oliver's education into the lives of Dallas's family begins as soon as they arrive in their compound and he discovers what life for Dallas was like growing up, but the danger has followed them there and even though they have grown closer, Dallas knows it is still up to her to protect Oliver and her family.

Code of Ethics is the third and final book in the Cipher Security series, ending with a satisfying conclusion. This book is filled with action, adventure, romance, and history - everything that makes this a very well written and enjoyable story. Unfortunately, I didn't feel a connection between the characters, even though they are thoroughly developed. Everything else about this book made it a fun ride. An abundance of research went into this book with lots of social commentary about indigenous people and the way they have been treated in both the past and present. Overall, Code of Ethics is an excellent culmination to a very enjoyable series.
