This is the Church of Scotland supplement to the church hymnary, published on behalf of the Panel on Worship of the Church of Scotland, The Third Edition was published in 1988. Some music comes from the Taize Community in France, some from the Iona Community in Scotland, there are some Victorian favourites, and some contemporary hymns from English-speaking countries. These are intended to supplement existing hymnals, and are for general congregational use, with guitar or piano accompaniment, or to be sung unaccompanied. Many are unison, but some have harmonies for choirs. An interesting selection, some very good.
