An exposition of the philosophy of time ("Parmenidean stasis" vs "Heraclitean flux", Leibniz's view, Kant's view, etc), with plenty of knowledgeable reference to thermodynamics, relativity, and quantum mechanics. He finds reason to think the "block-universe" (stasis) view may give way to a flux view. Most unfortunately, the writing is utterly riddled with German-language-style placements of commas before *restrictive* relative clauses (which he always starts with "which", never with the usually preferable "that"), messing up sentence meanings and greatly distracting the reader. English just cannot be punctuated that way; it is a serious language incompetency, contrasting with and sabotaging his superb competence with the subject matter, and there is no excuse for it.… (plus d'informations)
