Dvora Waysman was born Dorothy Opas in Melbourne, Australia. She made "aliya" to Jerusalem with her family in 1971 and now has 16 Israeli grandchildren. She is widely known as a teacher of Creative Writing and a freelance journalist, syndicated worldwide. She has received several literary awards afficher plus including the "For Jerusalem" citation by former Mayor Teddy Kollek for her fiction, features and poetry about the city; and "Best Foreign Correspondent" Award from the Society of Justice, Ethics & Morals in Journalism. Her previous published books include: "To Any Jewish Teenager-Letters from Jerusalem," "My Long Journey Home" (Hebrew), "Back of Beyond," "The Pomegranate Pendant" and "Woman of Jerusalem." Autumn Blessing par Dvora Waysman
This short, but engaging, story held my interest from the first page. Since it is written in first person, it immediately drew me into the heroine's plight. After her husband passes away, she joins a garden club at the insistence of her friend. There she meets Ron. He brings her back to life and to love, but the opinions of her overprotective adult children stand in the way of her future happiness.

I highly recommend this sweet, but authentic, tale of mature love.
