In The Suicide Squad no expense is spared. The team of elite, taskforce agents faces everything from CIA in-house politics and clandestine interests to parenting; yet they fight to protect the one thing the government could not train them in – true camaraderie. Going from Iraq to Langley to Ecuador, each page turn features the 5-man team individually paying the wages of government intervention. The group is conflicted between what is right and who can’t be trusted.

TJ Water’s brings the frontline perspective to the masses in an extraordinary way. Water’s brilliant storytelling is fast-paced sleuth drama that’s edgy without losing intense emotion. Each character stands alone, all submitting to the book’s powerful dénouement. Author TJ Water’s experience in the field drives high-energy to each chapter forcing you to examine yourself as the characters engage in matters of mystery, as well as family values. Hence, Water’s “Suicide Squad” is an authentic read.

A definite must-have for espionage enthusiasts.

Although not one who normally enjoys historical works, this one fascinated me. Today, the news is full of NSA, what they are doing and how detrimental many people their job is everywhere. If one looks, one can probably find similar instances were signals intelligence made a big difference to our national security efforts. People like T. Sgt. It is obvious, as the work shows, they can provide our best leg up in the fight against terrorism or any other enemies. I loved the way the author tied T. Sgt. Fudenna’s work and the success of this operation to the recent Seal Team Six raid on ben Laden. If more people knew this story and how successful these efforts can be, more would appreciate people like T. Sgt. Fudenna and the value of signals intelligence.… (plus d'informations)

A first-hand account of the almost year long training program for CIA officers. Like Lindsay Moran's Blowing My Cover it describes the personal price that even trainees pay for the long hours and isolation, while going deeper into the details of training than Moran. The story basically concludes when the training does. Waters makes an effort to describe the unique personality of this class.
