Interesting overview of Disney as company, culture, and phenomenon, from a variety of different analytical approaches.
Academic, but reasonably accessible writing. I wish there was a bibliography instead of all citations being within notes. Wasko refrains from inserting much personal commentary into the book, preferring to instead offer a compendium of critical opinion and analysis.
