Graham Ward explains in clear language why theology and religion matter today. He differentiates the two subjects and elucidates how each influences contemporary societies. Some of the issues he addresses include religion's relationship to power, science, and capitalism. This book will interest those who want to better understand the roles theology and religion play in our understanding of ourselves, our world, and of life’s meaning.

Very helpful collection of papers. Milbank's is good, focusing on the concept of the sublime as he often does (see also his essay on Kierkegaard in Phillip Blond's _Post-Secular Philosophy_ collection), but I found the best and most appealing to be Graham Ward's essay.

Interesting, but I'd recomend anyone new to radical orthodoxy to read the anthology that startet it all, Radical Orthodoxy: a new theology.
