I was very excited when i started this book. Looking at the other books written by the same author i wondered why i hadn't run across him before. The titles all sounded like my type of book. It was an ok read. I was highly disappointed. The author tried to hard to make it a deep intillectual read. Instead it was too wordy with too much information that if anything helped to confuse the story. As i was reading it i thought, rarely, that it would make a better movie than a book. The ending was about two pages long and was ok, i guess, but it was alot to go through for that small bleep of a conclusion.
This book hints at being spy, espionage and goverment. Mostly however it just tries to hard to prove that it is and the story loses punch. I did start to get excited about 300 pages in and thought well at least the endings coming along (it's 423 pgs) but then i came to the small inconsequental ending. Not a bad read and was an ok book but i wouldn't read it again and would be pressed to recommend it. It is however two stars if nothing else for that hint of excitement that's coming, but never does, around the 300 page mark.
