In my opinion this is a fantastic book. This book is a great introduction to Martin Luther King Jr for younger students. It is a good book for grades K-2nd. I really like that the book uses real pictures as illustrations. The readers get to see actual pictures of Martin Luther King. There is a page in the book that shows Martin Luther King waving to a crowd of people. It shows the reader how many people came to hear him speak and how important he was. The book does a great job of telling the reader about Martin Luther King in simple words. The first page says “This is Martin Luther King Jr. He helped many people. The author also tells the reader what Martin Luther King stood for “He did not want fighting. He wanted peace.” Another great thing about this book is that the author provided definitions in the back along with where you can find more information about Martin Luther King Jr. The big idea of the book is to give children an introduction to Martin Luther King Jr and the things he stood for.… (plus d'informations)

This informational book on Abraham Lincoln could be used as a history lesson or just a read aloud story, either way its a good read. It quickly introduces Abraham Lincoln, describes who he is and what he did, and ends with how he's remembered. I especially like the first page which has a picture of Abraham Lincoln, and then reads he was the 16th president of the United States, the children won't forget this as its the only information on the page right there beside his picture.
