Artists, writers and other creative people live mostly in their heads. What they can image far exceeds what reality has to offer. However, living in one’s head can be lonely. It begins with a dream and a look, and what follows is a sometimes amusing, sometimes sad love story between two unlikely people, an aging Irish actor, Hugh and a young Boston artist, Nora. Each chapter is told by one of the four main characters. The premise of this book is strange, but interesting: a woman has a chance encounter with her favorite actor and has the opportunity to cheat on her husband with him. This was a quick read. It was easy enough to follow the perspective of each character and the main two were well-thought out, but something was still missing for me. I didn’t love it, but I didn’t hate it either...hence the 3 star rating.
