A source book of military wheeled vehicles par Bart H. Vanderveen
Small format overview book of military vehicles from the very first to the end of the 1960s. Format is compact, one per page, with a single para description and some standard details. Bart Vanderveen is of course well known here.

But what's the point of this? It's not a complete listing, it's not big enough to be a reference, there's very little detail on each. So other than a skimpy overview of the broad subject, rather than as anything useful about particular vehicles, it's hard to see what this book might be good for.… (plus d'informations)

American Trucks of the Late Thirties 1935-1939… par Bart H. Vanderveen
It's an English book and it has some errors. It is not a bad survey and it is well illustrated.

A beautiful and unique (?) collection of text and photographs on the subject, possibly eclipsed since published, but of itself a gem.
