I recently joined Wattpad when it was introduced to me by Brian Kayser, author of The Curse of Europa, and I have to say, as I am only just really getting into eBooks, I didn’t think I’d use it. However, this popped up as a recommended read on the home page, and I have to say, I was instantly intrigued.

I found the writing style in this book amazing, it flowed really well and was never too slow. I managed to finish this in one sitting (which is highly unusual for me)! The plot of the book was interesting and I’m not surprised that the authors decided to make this a series. I really loved the characters and although at times I found the protagonist Callie a bit annoying, I can see that towards the end of the book she started to develop a lot more as a character which made her much more relatable.

Overall, I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars because although I really liked it, the story wasn’t entirely original; I found it similar to the Pretty Little Liars plot idea, and also it reminded me a lot of John Green’s novel Paper Towns. I would definitely recommend this book to readers of any age and am grateful to the authors for releasing it so graciously onto Wattpad for free.

Hal, Callie, and Nia are now inseperable thanks to the mysterious Amanda. Having found clues to Amanda's disapperance the three work together to find out what happeneed to their friend. Not having read the first novel, I was a little confused before I realized that this was the second in a series of four. That said it was still an enjoyable young adult adventure novel. Well written and fun, so now I will have to read 1, 3, & 4 of the series. Was not a bad way to spend an afternoon in the sun
