The whole book is a fairly good intro into Java 8 features but has the following drawbacks:

- doesn't talk about the implications of lambdas everywhere and their impact on the architecture.
- the chapter with the lambda intro itself is rather poor from the architectural view (but later chapters make rather wise use of lambdas)

Read this book but think critically about the code samples!
