It took me a long time to read this. It was too easy to put it down for any reason. I did like the story but didn't love it. I won't read any of the next ones. Resolving an 8 year misunderstanding between 2 people who supposedly are meant for each other (as stated often) just didn't flow well for some reason. I think all of her trust issues ruined the book which really didn't have much of a plot. Jude was a great character....and hottie!

Love Bites par Skye Turner

Received an ARC at no cost to authors on behalf of Enticement Journey book Promotions..Yes, yes yes, this book was so funny and I felt after some of the books that I have been reading this was just what I needed. So we meet Georgia who has been unlucky when it comes to men. After meeting guys and thinking she found the right one, they are so not it, so her friend convinces her to try speed dating. You know it is going to be funny. She ends up liking Spencer who ends up being the owner of the speed dating and he has a rule against dating the clients..Who wins, Georgia or Spender? 3.5 Stars!

Ahh, I love me some rocker romance! This was a pretty good one, and Jude was smokin' hot! Though there was the obligatory 'oh shit' misunderstanding moment, it wasn't too terribly angsty, so it's all good. All in all... I'm a fan.

Alluring Turmoil (Bayou Stix, #1) par Skye Turner

This was an enjoyable read- easy and quick.
general thoughts
1) both Lexi and Jude were their own worst enemies
2) they broke up 8 years earlier over a mistake and never discussed it back then - hum they must not have really loved each other then
3) they get back together after 8 years both still in love with the other and they still don't want to discuss what happened in the past - yes Jude tried but Lexi wouln't have it... bad choice
4) the book could have had more character development, what little we learned about our H/H was good but there was space for so much more - we could have had a few less sex scenes and more plot/character development
5) the book ended up getting tied to the sexual encounters - the issues between the couple were masked with great sex, there was very little character growth or development. our couple was still as insecure as they were when the book started
6) many lines or statements became redundant after a while - Like Jude always asking if Lexi was OK
7) the characters never really got over their insecurities.
8) not much band time
9) glossed over the difficulties a couple would have if one of them is really famous.
10) sex scenes seemed to all be the same in the end only the location was changed
11) the final confilct was resolved to easily and "marraige" is not the answer to this couples issues.

like I said it was a fun read but not enough to make me want to continue with the series… (plus d'informations)
