In 1931, during its maiden voyage, the British Airship Goliath mysteriously disappears without a trace. Hidden deep inside is a secret that could change the world.

Present day, in The Philippines, an attempted kidnapping draws historian Jennifer March and former soldier Ryan Mitchell into a deadly race to find the Goliath before a mysterious figure who threatens to topple governments and the lives of millions. From Alaska, to West Africa to Iceland the hunt for the truth is on.

Action packed adventure to the last

This is not my usual read but I thought I would try this book. Lots of action, shooting, and mystery.

FROM AMAZON: A sudden and brutal attack on a coalition training camp in Iraq wipes out all but two survivors: Captain David Grant and Australian SAS Sergeant James Maclean. Drawn into a clandestine world that deals with unusual encounters the two soldiers volunteer to help with the investigation into an alleged UFO crash in Alaska. The mission, however, is far from simple as it soon becomes apparent that something dangerous is going on and not everyone is as they appear to be.

Easy Read. Alien race attacks the human region of space after many decades of truce. What makes it surprising is they used armies of human soldiers indoctrinated into zealous belief in the Kurgan religion. Human agents also infiltrated the human military and committed acts of sabotage to help destroy the first responders. Book follows 2nd Lieutenant Sheridan, fresh out of the academy as he finds himself, untested, on the ground of the first planet the Kurgans are trying to subdue. His intelligence and determination (and luck) allow him to succeed in unlikely missions that end up giving the defenders a chance at victory. Oh... and his girlfriend, the pilot, also helps save the day.… (plus d'informations)
