Benjamin Tupper

This book gives the reader a soldier's-eye view of the war in Afghanistan. Untainted by overt patriotism or strong anti-war feelings, it allows the reader to come to one's own conclusions.

Unfortunately, the book was cobbled together from the author's blog posts, seemingly unedited. The publisher should have taken more time on editing and working with the author to piece together the posts into a more coherent narrative. On the other hand, the brief, disjointed chapters make for a book that's easy to read bit by bit over an extended time.… (plus d'informations)
