Human psychological development how-to in a nutshell. Everybody should read this.

I've always been interested in psychology and human development. I've read text books, self help books, mindfulness books, religious books and talked to wise elders and enlightened others. I've heard things like, "You have to love yourself before you can really love others." I've even used such phrases at the right time in conversations with others without really knowing what it meant. I've wondered about self-actualization and individuation...how will I know when I'm there? What does the process look like? Where am I in the process? It all seemed so nebulous, until now. I really "get it" after reading this book. The author doesn't just throw cliches and silly exercises at you; she gives you highly personal example showing how the process of inner development works. Of course, my internal triggers are not the same as hers, but the examples gave me a context that I could apply to my inner world. I was able to step back and see my inner work, both the done and the not done. I know where I've been, where I am, where I'm going, and when I'll "get there." The book didn't tell me this directly, but it educated me on how a healthy inner dialog leads the way to enlightenment.… (plus d'informations)

A very loving and uplifting book that encourages you to practice self-compassion and love. The author, Vironika, tells her story of self-loathing throughout the majority of her life, mostly in her teenage years. This book should be recommended to all teenage girls in Western society going through similar feelings. But it's meant for anyone to read and I felt very happy after finishing it.

Before I started reading this book the title "The Love Mindset" didn't mean anything to me. But after reading it, I can't think of a better title.

Vironika shares her own journey and deeply personal insights, and through that opens a path for readers to follow and reach healing and happiness.

In very simple terms: love is everything, it can heal all hurt and pain and provide the life you deserve.
I got so much out of this book and will be going back to it time after time to re-read sections of chapters that I highlighted.

The book spoke to me from the first page and I was able to recognize myself in many sections. Just reading the book, before I've even tried to use any of the suggestions, I feel a sense of peace and hope.
