Step-by-step easy to follow instructions with accompanying labeled photographs and bolded suggestions for what each beginner-magician should say. “I will need a coin for this trick. This one will do.” There are five tabbed sections – Coin Magic, Matchstick Magic, Rope and String, Mind and Body, and Mixed Tricks – each with an introduction to the section, even with fun facts. For each specific trick, the page is organized by the name of the trick with short explanation, list of props needed, a “be prepared” section, and the progressive instructions listed under “what you do.” Some tricks include tips, afterthoughts, or suggested places to try as well. The magic tricks at the beginning seem to be the easiest, getting gradually more difficult throughout the book.
