"Kismet is a Black Mirror meets Bridget Jones," is what the jacket proclaimed and what made me pick up this book. I didn't fully expect it to live up to either of those things which is good because it didn't. It was enjoyable enough and the concept of basing it around a dating app is fun enough, but I think ultimately the book couldn't decide what it could be. Had it not tried to be some exploration of how dating apps and algorithms alter how we look at others, and just focussed on being a woman turning 30 and questioning her path and progress it would have been far better.… (plus d'informations)
